Works of over 35.000 contemporary artists, writers, musicians and filmmakers from 162 countries, in 5 time capsules launched to the moon.

Initiated by scientist, writer and art lover Samuel Peralta, The Lunar Codex uses digital and analog technology to preserve art, books, music, and more, enclosed in time capsules and launched to the Moon. It is a message-in-a-bottle to the future.

Thirteen of my works that in the last few years appeared in American catalogues, in an issue of Fine Art Connoisseur and in many issues of the Poets Artists magazine of publisher Didi Menendez have been digitized and  will be part of the Codex Nova and Codex Polaris to be launched to the Moon in February and November 2024 and archived there with an AI in a time capsule. In total works of over 35.000 contemporary artists from 162 countries are part of this mission. Also works of Dutch artists Lorena Kloosterboer, Francies Krieg, Astrid Ritmeester and Gezien van de Riet are included.

PS: yesterday on February 22nd The Odysseus Lander of the Codex Nova has succesfully landed on the Moon !

Happy news that this work  Anneke in Wassenaar/North Sea Blues is semi  finalist in the largest competition in the world on realist art.  Of 5,400 entries this year from 75 countries. 40%, 2,152 works have been selected as semi-finalists.
