I am very happy with the invitation of Wilma Geerts, owner of WG Gallery in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, to show a number of pantings from my series at a solo exhibition. I think it is the wish of every artist to show a broad view of her/his work! In my case they are "Sweet Memories", which are precious memories of a lot of beautiful things (people, animals, landscapes, etc.) that during over 30 years I found worthy of recording in watercolour, acrylic, but mostly oil paint. It still takes a while: the exhibition will be from September 5th until October 25th, 2026

Happy news that this work  Anneke in Wassenaar/North Sea Blues is semi  finalist in the largest competition in the world on realist art.  Of 5,400 entries this year from 75 countries. 40%, 2,152 works have been selected as semi-finalists.
